I need help tabbing this tune please

Postby Joscho Fan » Mon Jan 22, 2007 6:37 pm

Ok, I am tabbing Richard Smith playing Django's version of I'll See You In My Dreams. I've think I've done fairly well for my first time tabbing a Django tune. But right here at 1:58 -2:01 I'm kinda stumped. This style is completely alien to me so any would be appreciated, here is the video,

Also 1:55 - 1:57 if y'all could help me there, I have it tabbed pretty close but I don't know if it's right or not. Thanks a lot

He is playing something along the lines of..

G ---------2-3-2--------
D 0-2-3-5-------5-5-5-

It's taken straight from the Django recording.. though I'm not sure if thats how he played it. I always play it starting on the 5th fret of the A string..

D -------5-7-8-7-5-5-5
A 5-7-8-----------------

Hope that helps.

1:58 to 2:01

I think this sounds okay. Alot of the solo is actually taken from Django's solo. I think there's a good tab version on this website.
