Hey Gypsypunk

I'm trying the same thing in Glasgow. We're having a first meeting on 22nd July. I have to say I found it quite time consuming to organise and I think the trick is to have someone ( you ? ) who's the regular attendee so there's a bit of coherency.

Anyway, all the best, let me know if you manage to get something organised as I'm often in Edinburgh and wouldnt mind joining in

I know of several guitar teachers who teach this way, the medium suits an ordered dialogue - but when you need live, real-time, unbroken feeds (ie for jams, festivals), one word: latency. You don't always notice it but there's an appreciable lag between you sending and other side receiving - when you're playing together even 0.1 sec is enough to throw the rhythm out.

My friends have been bursting out in the southern hemisphere mate. They are actually looking for a better breakthrough. And I think their band is what you guys need. So how can we register the band for the nomination?

Guys is there more new requirements for any musical band. I know some guys who might deserve a shot at a big stage. I hope some of you can help.
