Cardiff ?

Dear all,
It looks that I might be moving from Washington, DC to Cardiff soon.
I've been playing with/ and as bandleader / manager of the Hot Club of DC for about 5~6 years.
I was wondering if you could help me to get a good picture of the Gypsy Jazz scene in or around Cardiff? My knowledge of this area is very limited. Any info will be appreciated.

Cardiff, South Wales, that's correct. Isn't it the only Cardiff in the UK?

Well there is a small Cardiff in Gloucestershire but wasn't really sure if you meant a Cardiff in USA. I'm from Cardiff myself (South Wales) but not living there now. There is a Gypsy band called 5 Go Swing in Cardiff but not sure of others. It may be a good start to look them up.

I live near Cardiff. There is not a Gypsy Jazz scene as such - which I am finding very frustrating as I am looking for other guitarists to play with. I have the rythm side pretty much down, but need to play with others to develop. Interested in meeting up?

Will Barnes, of Gypsy Fire lives in Chepstow, which if you're american, is only a short drive away. He's always up for jamming, but also pretty busy.

I just relocated to Cardiff today. I am not setup yet, it should take me at least another couple of weeks, but I am interested to know of anyone who's around and would be interested to play.
