MOZES ROSENBERG (born 1983), younger brother of Stochelo Rosenberg. A Dutch Sinti (Gypsy), like others of his ilk, he learned to play the guitar from early childhood as is usual for Gypsy musicians, Mozes formed the ‘Mozes Rosenberg Trio’, and has played with world greats: The Rosenberg Trio, Paco De Lucia and Joe Zawinul a.o. He has recorded with his brother Stochelo Rosenberg and nephew Sani van Mullem and another nephew Johnny Rosenberg in ‘Trio Johnny Rosenberg’, later renamed Johnny & Mozes Rosenberg. A stylish sensitive swinging player who rarely visits UK.
