Virtuoso French Gypsy guitarist Aurélien Bouly learned his craft by ear, he wowed the audiences last year alongside the great UK player Gary Potter. Stéphane Morin Aurelien’s stonking rhythm player cements the solid rhythm with one of UK’s most versatile double bassists, Jonny Gee who has played with Ravi Shankar, Antonio Forcione, and ZUM as well as featuring on an award-winning CD by Dutch Manouche Gypsy swing guitarist Lollo Meier. David Horniblow of the famed Chris Barber band and fan of Ellington will join this premiere line up on demon swing clarinet. They will draw you in, with a mesmerising weave of eclectic tunes, that tugg your heart strings, music and vocals that include Django’s melodies and timeless jazz standards, Gypsy King style Rumba plus the edge of Gypsies canticles and own compositions, songs sung in Romanes, flamenco flavours and traditional Manouche guitar styles melded with modern flavours. Come and feel the energy alive and kicking.
