Hey Andreas,
Are you planning any trips out to the west coast at all? Maybe San Francisco, hmm? Just heard your cd over here at the Saga office, and man...we are all thoroughly impressed....just one thing....do you think you could play that intro to 'Move' a little faster?

Have a great gig!

Oh common Andreas! Come out my way and hang out with the scorpians and spiders and roadrunners and horrible heat during the summer. It's where 114 degrees tends to hang out. Arizona Baby!!!!

Ok OK not Arizona. I would drive 8 hours into LA to catch you play in a heart beat!

Love your playing man! Truly inspiring!

Have a great show in Jersey!!!

Theres that!

Andreas,

We're getting something together around my way (western Massachusetts, not far from the city) for the anniversary of Django's birth on Sunday 23 January. If you're still in the country, there's always a chance of a gig if you'd like. Dennis might be coming in from Montreal (not sure if you guys have met), and it should be a good time. Let me know if you're interested.

Best,
Jack.

Andreas,

As anyone knows, the real gypsy jazz scene (in fact the mecca of the whole American music scene) and the center of hip culture in the states is in Alabama. Look forward to your arrival!

Hey Andreas,

Your going to have a great time in NY, I just got back from there, and I played at Barbes, Oscars and Bar Tabac, with Stephane, Alphonso and Ripply. The Django Agogo festival in Barbes was the highlight, great fun with a really receptive audiance. Also make time to see some jazz gigs, the 55 bar on Christofer street is a great little club, I think Wane Krants has a weekly spot and try to catch David Binneys band, I think its every Tuesday, awsome contemporary jazz.

Have fun,

Robin

Yes, after the Bar Tabac gig we went down to his monday night gig at Iridium in Manhatten in order to meet him and ask him about Django and ended up playing for him, he kept calling out tunes, "gimme a little limehouse will ya" style. Wow, the closest I'll ever get to Django, him and an old woman who frequents the Quecumbar who was friends with Stephane Grappelli and saw Django play in Paris.
