The music business is a cruel and shallow trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men lie like dogs.

There is also a negative side.

Does that mean curled up under the kitchen table in a basket or being untruthful?

Great quote, Carter

I found this unusual headline here http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=22&art_id=qw110896272084B211 that I sent to a friend who had played with Zevon at the end and met HST (or at least dogged spitballs hurled at him by HST).

He concurred that Thompson would've loved this obit headline.

Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 was a life changing book for me. Righteous irreverence galore. I will miss that voice.
