The mere mention of his name brings me back to the age of 6 playing with the wind up bike thing. I really thought he was some sort of super hero when I was a kid.....and what an outfit. RIP

Yeah man he was something else... as a kid i was mesmerised with the Snake River canyon attempt....if you ever get a chance to see the film of David Frost asking him stupid questions just before the near fatal attempt check it out...you can see in his eyes that Evel is a man who is sure he's about to die..but is gonna do it anyway.....

RIP Evel......he's jumping on a ramp over the gates of heaven as we speak...

yes indeed Sir....allegedly he was no slouch with the ole baseball bat!!! and managed to hit many a business associate for a home run....
