Where is Django's complete discography?

Postby geoff149 » Mon Nov 06, 2006 11:40 pm

OK you guys, someone must know (in fact it may have been posted already) - where can I find an exhaustive Django discography? I'm not asking much, just a list of every darn thing he recorded including official recordings, bootlegs, out-takes, recordings under pseudonyms... everything!

Hi

you should check out the Integrale Django Reinhardt CD series that had been published by the "Fremeuax et Associes" Label (20 double-CDs).
The booklets sum to the completest discographie I know.

The titles of the entire 2o CDs are reflected on this website:

I know people (especially authors) have mixed feelings about this, but much of the Vernon book is available at Google Books. Interesting stuff, though of course some of the good bits are missing...

best,
Jack.
