Hi all,
I've got a Joseph question: one of the discs listed at the link above is "Hommage a Django", which is available in the shop here with the same cover art etc. The track listing in the shop is:
# Nuages
# Melodi au Crepescule
# Minor Swing
# Djangology
# Daphne
# Tears
# Manoir de mes reves
# Belleville
# Violons
# Bric a Brac
# Triste Melodie
# Menuet
I'd heard these tracks before, but thought they were from "Joue pour Django". When I looked on Djangostation I found two different albums with two different tracklists. First is the one I'd heard, listed there as "Joseph joue pour Django":
Then there's Hommage...
with this tracklist:
Face A :
1. Swanee River (argt L. Laroque) 2?28
2. Nuages (D. Reinhardt) 3?00
3. Elle Etais Si Jolie (A. Barrière) 2?24
4. Danse Ballerine, Danse (A. Hornez/B. Russel/C. Sigman) 3?27
5. Cumulus (J. Reinhardt) 4?24
6. Ma Vie (A. Barrière) 2?38
Face B :
7. Mistral (J. Reinhardt) 1?57
8. Violon (J. Reinhardt) 2?43
9. Undecided (C. Shavers) 1?58
10. Fugue (J. Reinhardt) 2?06
11. Lover Man (J. Davis/R. Ramirez/J. Sheridan) 3?50
12. L?Eau Vive (G. Béart) 2?34
So...is the shop CD in fact "Joseph Joue..." and not "Hommage", or have the titles become muddled over the years, or what?
Thanks,
Jack.
