Hey, does anyone know if a ZT lunchbox ext cab would work with a Phil Jones Cub AG100 for slightly larger than small cafe/bar gigs?
The ZT wants 8 ohms but the output of the Cub seems to be 4 but I'm no electrician.
Cheers

Phil Jones got back to me, this is reply in case its any help for anybody. Think I'll stick to looking for a larger amp as the extension cab he's recommending costs £650...
Hi Mike,
The AG100 Cub can not power any extension speaker cabinet as all the power is consumed by the internal speakers.
You would need an active (powered cabinet) to get extra volume from the cub.
We have a powered 250 watt cabinet that has 6 x 5 inch speakers and works great with the cub for guitar.

Or you could slave up another cub by taking the line out from one to the input of another.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions.
Regards
Phil Jones
