The following is a link to an article (sadly subscription only) in this month's _British Medical Journal_ about Django's left hand by David Williams and Tom Potokar, who have "analysed archive photographs to construct a three-dimensional computer model of his injuries."

That's really interesting. Funnily enough I asked one of my colleagues - a GP - who woule be best placed to comment on Django's injuries, e.g. a surgeon, a burns specialist etc. The idea was to approach a number of specialists in the hope of finding some Django fans but lack of time etc.....
So, it seems that someone's done it or at least part of it - they may simply have constructed the model of his hand but I'd be interested to get the opinion of other specialists. We all assume that the injury brought nothing but trouble but maybe it brought some benefits as a result of the restructuring of tendons, muscles etc. Just a thought.....
Anyway the good news - for me - is that I have access to the bmj through my work- if I can just remember the bloody password..........
