To those people who have died just trying to live an ordinary life in a free society.

There is a very strange atmosphere in London tonight, everybody walking on the streets, elegant, but emotionaly shellshocked refugges. We are all deeply saddened and appalled by these horrid events, and yet I can't help thinking that this is all the more shocking to me, a Londener who's university is right next to where the bus bomb went off, because it is in my manor, on my door step, and not thousands of miles away in Iraq. Anyway, us Londeners are resilient, we have had, guy fawks, the blits and the IRA and are stoic. My heart goes out to those directly affected.

A sad and terrible day for London. My thoughts are with all the the friends and relatives of those caught up in these barbaric and cowardly acts.

As an Israeli I know what you are going through. As tough as it is, you must continue on living...
