"Gin Gin" - waltz by Django

Postby benbows protege » Tue May 20, 2003 6:50 pm

Does anyone have some dots or tab for this tune. I have it played by "Le Trio Ferret" on a box set and would be intersested in playing it.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Pete.

There is probably lots of stuff out there for this tune if you look under its more common name, "Chez Jacquet"

ps - what boxed set do you have it on? I just have the "Jazz Gitan" CD with three Trio Ferret tracks (how many tracks do you have?)

Thanks for the reply. I have it on a box set called "Hitin' on all Six" which is a history of the jazz guitar. There are tracks by "Le Trio Ferret" and by Matelo Ferret.

Go, coincidence! My local library just called to say they're holding this set for me, but I had no idea who or what was on it. Now I'll know to stop for some CD blanks.

:) It is well worth Copying it. I found Oscar Aleman on it! aswell as people like Bernard Addison, Eddie Durham. I really enjoyed it.

Ah, Oscar. You should check out an earlier thread about him, if you're interested. I think it's in the Artists section. At any rate, it led me to some good recordings (cheap, too)!
