Does anyone have the provenance of "Hungaria" handy?

I once played with a violinist, now deceased, of Django's generation who said that Hungaria was a tune called 'Angry'; 'Angry, you make me angry', and that Django was alleged to have said in his 'French' accent, "Let's play that tune 'Hungry' ", hence Hungary/Hungaria. Truth or myth? Je ne sais pas!
