Made in France w/ Powertabs

Postby CB » Fri May 16, 2003 7:11 pm

I've started working on Made in France using Steve's Powertab file (thank you!). Two questions.

Is there any way to slow this file down? (I'm just learning!) In other powertab files, I have been able to adjust the tempo via the tempo marker, but in the Made in France. ptb, the temp at 120 seems locked. If I add a new tempo, it only works for one beat and then the 120 kicks back in.

Also, anyone have the chords to this (great) song? Maybe not all that Sylvain Luc uses, but the basics at least?

Thanks!

I can see whats happening here. If you select the (12) which is directly below the 120 tempo marker and then change it, your new tempo will carry on through the whole tune.

Code: Select all
3/4
Intro:
Em6/9 / / | / / / | / / / | / / / |

Tune:
Em / / |/ / / |Am / / |/ / / |
B7 / / |/ / / |Em / / |B7/ / |
Em / / |/ / / |Am / / |/ / / |
B7 / / |/ / / |Em / / |/ / / |

Am7 / / |D9 / / |GΔ7 / / |CΔ7|
F#Ø / / |B7 / / |Em / / |E / / |
Am7 / / |D9 / /|GΔ7 / / | CΔ7|
F#Ø / / |/ / / |B7 / / |/ / / |

Em / / |/ / / |Am / / |/ / / |
F#Ø / / |B7 / / |Em / / |B7 / / |
Em / / |/ / / | Am / / | / / / |
F#Ø / / |B7 / / | Em / / | / / / |

The timing on this next section is a departurefrom the straight waltz theme.
You will soon get the hang of it.

Zoot:

Thanks for cracking the code on the Powertab tempo, that IS the ticket.

And thanks especially for the chords, I'll be strummin' tonight.......

Having now played along to the powertab file it seems my ear for timing was way off mark. I'm sure you will get the gist of it though.
