"Janine"
Colin Cosimini is one of those guys who lives life for his guitar. He learnt his craft by touring the streets of Paris hustling gigs with Gypsy style guitarists at their local haunts and studying the greats at work.
His debut CD "Janine" is a mixture of classic and original Gypsy Jazz with Swing and Musette tunes throughout. With tunes by Django Reinhardt, Titi Winterstein and his own Musette comositions and arrangements this makes for a fine premiere release.
Accompanied by the solid sound of Dave Kelbie and Pete Townsend from the experienced UK group "Le Jazz" that made its name by backing the great Fapy Lafertin on tour when over here in the UK.
