Hello, I purchased this guitar some two years ago and the vendor mentioned some connection between the guitar and Babik Reinhardt. On plugging it in the other day there was no sound, so I took out a screwdriver to have a look inside the three panels on the back and noticed there was a 9 volt battery...

I attended a very useful workshop with Ritary Gaguenetti at Le Quecumbar back in February of this year. Ritary was playing one such guitar, of which I had the pleasure of playing & consequently jamming with Ritary for a good ½ hour. Ritary's guitar was the Gallato RS 1939 Angelo Debarre Signatur...
