Transport to Samois!
Hi there, This is a long shot but is there anybody on the forum going to Samois and would like a lift in a car. We'll be driving from London to Samois. It takes about 6 hours if your go via the channel tunnel. There's one problem - I can't drive! My friend is lending me his car for the festival, so ...

Re: Argentines
What? You play for seven and a half hours a day? You must be pretty good by now! D'Addario all day long, none of your fancy shite! Ok math was never my strong point! But I practice alot, and the Argies go dead very very quickly! Out of all the other string companies out there which come closest to ...

Argentines
Hi there, Does anyone out there have any tips on making a set of Argentine's last more than 4 days?! Seem to go dead after 30 hrs of playing. I love the sound but Savarez should really do some investment in getting their strings to last longer! I'm spending £20 a month on these strings, that's £240 ...

Strings In London
Hi there,
Does anyone on the forum know where I can get hold of D'Addario Gyspy Jazz strings in London? I've tried the west end dealers on Denmark Street and none of them had them as far as I can tell.
Help would be most appreciated!
Ahab.

I got the guitar back a couple of days ago, and I'm very happy with it now. The luthier did an excellent job levelling and dressing the frets - they look amazing. They're all very even and fretting is very nice now. I've been able to take the action down a bit, just under 3mms at the 12th fret, and ...

New Cigano GJ 10 problems
Ok, first of all I would like to apologise if anything I say here has been said before, but I've searched a bit and would just like some/advice feedback if at all possible. In addition I'd like to point out that I am relative novice when it comes to the setup of Selmacs, so I apologise in advance if...

A Rookie Gypsy Jazzer
Hi there, My first post on this forum so I thought I'd share with you some of the reasons I have embarked on my journey to be a true gypsy jazz player, cin as much as that is possible, not being a romany gypsy, and never having lived in a caravan, except once when I was holiday as a child. That does...
